TICKETS FOR THE SWEET SIXTEENTH MEREDITH MUSIC FESTIVAL
Have now completely sold out. They sold out very very quickly.
There are no more available from any outlets in any way shape or form.
Thanks very much to everyone for their patience and time in trying successfully or unsuccessfully to secure tickets.
Again, we encourage you to join the mailing list if you are not currently subscribed.
Some other details regarding tickets:
- Children under 10 are free. There are no other concessions or discounts.
- Lost, stolen or damaged tickets will not be replaced. We have no way of verifying that lost tickets are genuinely lost, so it's a blanket 'no' on that one. Sorry, but try to see it from our side. Heaps of people try it on. Guard your ticket with your life, treat it like cash, it cant be replaced.
- There is NO CAMPING SUNDAY NIGHT. You must leave by 5pm Sunday.
- You will need Photo ID to prove you are over 18 if you wish to enter a licensed area on site, or purchase alcohol from any of the bars. Even if you are 55 and look 70, if you haven't got ID, you wont be served.
- There are NEVER tickets for sale at the gate
- There are NO concessions for interstate drivers, that was a one-off, ludicrously over-subscribed promotion in 2004.
- Your vehicle will be subject to a thorough search this year, as we beef up the number of burly ex-wrestlers with bomber jackets and moustaches at Reception. Don't think hiding under a blanket is going to fool us.
- Arrive in convoy if you want to camp together. You wont be able to drive around looking for your friends all night.
- Bush Camp fills up first. It will be full on Friday Night. Once it's full, nobody else can go in there to camp. There will be no reserving of campsites either this year. That's going too far. Tell your friends to get there with you otherwise they'll have to camp somewhere else.
- That's about it for now. Got off the topic a bit too.
ARTISTS
The following artists are playing on the Friday Night: The Presets, Rose Tattoo, The New Pornographers, Band of Horses, My Disco and several more to be announced. That should answer most questions, if not all questions shouldn't it?
